Man’s Brass Knuckles Also His Belt Buckle, Pants Fall Down After Attack
Having brass knuckles for a belt buckle sure seems like a good idea at first, but a very drunk guy on Alki found out the hard way that this clever multi-use design has one key engineering flaw. After he took a swing at a restaurant employee, who blocked his attack, his pants fell down around his ankles.
Officers responding to a noise complaint at a restaurant near 59th Ave SW and Alki Ave SW around midnight June 19 found an employee outside with a light abrasion to his arm, according to the police report. The victim said he was telling a patron to stop drinking alcohol outside the restaurant when the suspect decided to interject, saying, “He’s my friend and he can drink outside if he wants to.” The employee insisted that no one is allowed to drink outside the restaurant. The suspect replied, “Do you know who I am?” (After reading this report, I must say I am a little curious…)
